We woke up this morning and knew something was a buzz. The Yellow Bird Project is one year old! We are now officially donning the Toddler status. The average one year old can say six words, here at YBP we only need two- Thank YOU. Like our fellow toddlers, we too engage in make believe games. This project was very much our imaginary friend; we stood in our jungle gyms and chased Drop Dead Fred and then one of our talking G.I. Joes said “you should found an organization that bridges the coolest and often most underappreciated artists, all sorts of charitable organizations, with couture fashion that rivals Juicy.” And so that is what we did one year ago. There is no “I” in team, and whilst YBP does have one “I” in its name, we swear it is purely grammatical. Thanks to the team; to every YBP artist, YBP associated charities, Tweet team (we’ll save you from Sylvester), our You Tube masters (check them out for great guitar and life lessons), and above all to everyone that has ever sported a YBP tee or has told their friends to! YBP would not be a year old if there weren’t people like you helping keep our wings afloat. Thank YOU and cheers to another great year filled with health and happiness.
