I love it when one of my favourite bands, covers another one of my favourite bands. And, while he’s doing it he’s playing one of my favourite songs.

I recently found a live recording, from an unknown time and place, of Hayden performing a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Famous Blue Raincoat’. It’s played on the piano as opposed to guitar, which gives it a new twist, but still with a similar sort of baritone voice. At the beginning of the song, Hayden says that LC is ‘one of his all time favourite people in music’. Respect Hayden, respect.
