About The Band
Holly Throsby is a talented singer/songwriter from Sydney Australia. She has released two full length albums, her latest 2006 release is entitled "Under the Town". Both albums are ripe with intimately chilling compositions. She has performed all across the globe, and has also toured with other YBP team members: Hayden, and Devendra Banhart. Oh, and in her spare time she also makes her own comic books! The profits from the sale of her tee will benefit Amnesty International. She recently did a live session with 'Shoot The Player', which you can see here.
About The Cause
Amnesty International (AI) is a worldwide movement of people who campaign for internationally recognized human rights. It works to mobilize public opinion which exerts pressure on those who perpetrate abuses.Their emblem below is a reflection of their mantra, which is based on the proverb, "Better to light a candle then to curse the darkness."
