About The Band
Joseph Arthur was first discovered by Peter Gabriel in the mid-90's, and was subsequently signed to his "Real World" record label. His innate songwriting ability is conveyed through his haunting melodies and his evocative lyrics. His music can be best appreciated during his live performances, where he uses looping techniques while simultaneously painting abstract designs. Arthur also recently released a book of original art called "We Almost Made it", with a 21-track mostly-instrumental album, "The Invisible Parade" as accompaniment.
