    About The Band

Of Montreal is an electro-pop band from Athens, Georgia. Led by the enigmatic, gender bending lead singer/songwriter Kevin Barnes, Of Montreal has come a long way from their humble beginnings as one of the bands that were part of the Elephant 6 Recording Group. Nine albums and a slew of compilations and EPs later, the band that started out sounding like a cross between The Beatles and The Kinks now sounds like a completely different animal, embracing more electronic elements in their music. With their fan-base continuing to grow, their live show has swelled into one of the most elaborate and exciting concert experiences in the entire world of indie music. This T-shirt was designed by Barnes' brother David Barnes, who has been in charge of the majority of the band's artwork to this point, and demonstrates the band's quirkiness and willingness to think outside the box. Like all of our other designs, this one was produced exclusively for the Yellow Bird Project, and all profits from the sales of this tee will benefit the child cancer ward at St. Jude Hospital.

    About The Cause

Of Montreal have chosen to support the children's cancer ward at the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. With the help of some of today's most gifted researchers, the discoveries which have been made at this facility have literally changed the way the world treats children with cancer and other diseases. In addition to that, all patients accepted for treatment at St. Jude's are treated, regardless of the family's ability to pay.
