About the project
When you buy a tee or product from our Yellow Bird Project - 100% from each sale goes directly to the charity. We have a print on demand model, so we don't have to hold stock, meaning we keep our costs down and more of your donation gets channelled into our vital work.
We work with an amazing range of worldwide artists to create unique tee designs and products to help not only fundraise but also raise awareness of our cause. We owe each and every one of them and their management teams, a big thank you for their support.
Do good, look good, feel good & share your support #Trekstock #YellowBirdProject.
We're a small team, but a passionate one. If you want to get in touch, just give us a shout, we're always happy to chat - email@example.com.
A History of The Yellow Bird
Let’s set the scene - the year was 2006, the sun was shining, and two recent uni grads Casey and Matt set out to conquer the world. Like Bono on a mission, they decided it was time to make a difference and bring about a new world order of indie philanthropy. Maybe it was philosophy 101, guitar lessons, or an infinite awe for music that inspired them to climb aboard this train we like to call Yellow Bird, but we’re sure glad they did. Together they forged into a solid brigade and the community kept expanding.
One day in 2016, Casey & Matt met with Trekstock and realised that together, we could help change the game for young adults living with cancer - a cause which they and all the artists involved felt passionately about supporting.
How You Are Helping Trekstock
Most people take moving into their 20s and 30s for granted but this isn’t the case for those who are told they have cancer - everything becomes a lot more complicated.
Every day in the UK, 34 young adults hear the words 'you have cancer.' Trekstock is a charity that gives those living with and the affects of cancer, the emotional and practical support they need to thrive through and beyond a journey that doesn't stop when treatment ends.
Our online information hub, regular social events and wellbeing workshops all help to tackle the isolation, fear and anxiety that are part of facing cancer at a young age.
You can think of Yellow Bird Project as a tree of creativity, with branches joining Trekstock, musicians and t-shirts together with a fashionable punch. We seek out only the best artists, collaborate with them to design amazing one off tees, in order to provide emotional and practical support for young adults living with cancer.
Thank you to the amazing Yellow Bird Project community for staying along for the ride. For more info on how we can support you or a loved one, or to get involved with the charity, check out www.trekstock.com
